Native to: Brazil. Epidendrum fulgens grows near sea level near the coast as a terrestrial orchid plant.
Plant Size: Large. The stems are reed-like and upright.
Flower Size: 1 inch (2.5 cm)
Flower Description: Flowers are small and bloom on an upright stem that develops from the tip of mature stems.
Bloom Season: Fall
Growing Temperature: Warm
Additional Information: Epidendrum fulgens grows in sandy soil very close to the sea where it is exposed to bright light and salt spray. Grow in a well-drained pot and give it a warm spot in the greenhouse.
