Native to: Peru. Epidendrum orbiculatum grows on trees in wet mountain forests between 2800 to 3200 meters in elevation.
Plant Size: Small. Epidendrum orbiculatum has arching stems with a few thick leaves.
Flower Size: 1 inch (2.5 cm)
Flower Description: The small flowers are produced on a short flower stem that bears up to three flowers.
Bloom Season: Winter to Spring
Growing Temperature: Cool
Additional Information: Grow this small species on a cork bark mount and keep moist and humid. This is an unusual species that was first discovered in 1943.
