Native to: Costa Rica, Panama. Epidendrum pseudepidendrum is native to lowland rain forests up to 2000 meters in elevation. It grows on trees.
Plant Size: Large. Epidendrum pseudepidendrum has upright, slender, reed-like stems with a few leaves.
Flower Size: Up to 3 inches (7.5 cm)
Flower Description: The flowers of Epidendrum pseudepidendrum have narrow green petals and sepals and a striking orange lip. Newly matured growths produce terminal flower stems that have up to five flowers.

Growing Temperature: Warm to Cool
Additional Information: Grow Pseudepidendrum spectabile mounted on cork bark or tree fern fiber or grow in a well-drained pot. Provide humidity and fertilizer throughout the year. The flowers are interesting and many people have this species in their orchid collections.
