Native to: Costa Rica. Epidendrum mirabile grows on trees around 1950 meters in elevation in mountainous forests.

Flower Description: Epidendrum mirabile produces few to several flowers on a short terminal inflorescence. The flowers open at the same time.

Growing Temperature: Cool to Warm
Additional Information: Grow this species mounted on cork bark or driftwood. Provide standard Cattleya growing conditions or cooler for best results. Epidendrum mirabile was first described to science in 1930 by Dr. Ames of Harvard University.
