Native to: St. Lucia. Epidendrum johnstonii grows on trees.

Flower Description: The small flowers of Epidendrum johnstonii are produced on a terminal flower stem. Only a handful of flowers are produced per growth.

Growing Temperature: Warm to Cool
Additional Information: Epidendrum johnstonii was discovered and described by Dr. Ames of Harvard in 1905. Grow mounted on cork or tree fern and provide even water and fertilizer year-round. This species does not appear to be widespread in cultivation.
