Native to: Mexico. Epidendrum lowilliamsii is native to the Mexican states of Mexico and Michoacan. It grows on trees from 200 to 2200 meters in elevation.
Plant Size: Small. The stems of Epidendrum lowilliamsii are slender and have up to 8 leaves.
Flower Size: 1 inch (2.5 cm)
Flower Description: The dull yellow flowers are produced on a short flower stem that develops from the tip of mature stems. Plants have up to 5 flowers.
Bloom Season: Winter
Growing Temperature: Cool to Warm
Additional Information: Grow this species mounted on cork or tree fern or in a small pot with coarse orchid potting media. Let the plants dry out a little during the winter months. Provide bright light and cooler winter temperature to stimulate flowering.
