Common Name: Oblique Epidendrum Orchid
Native to: Bolivia. Epidendrum obliquum grows on trees between 2800 and 3200 meters in elevation.
Plant Size: Medium. Epidendrum obliquum has upright, reed-like stems that have two or three thin leaves. The leaves are deciduous.
Flower Size: 1 inch (2.5 cm)
Flower Description: The small flowers are produced on a short terminal inflorescence. Up to six flowers are produced per growth and the flowers bloom one after the other to extend the bloom season.

Growing Temperature: Warm
Additional Information: Grow Epidendrum obliquum mounted on cork bark or tree fern or in a slatted basket. Reduce water when the leaves turn yellow and fall from the plant during cooler months. Resume heavy watering when new growth appears in the spring.
