Epidendrum purum
Common Name: Single-colored Epidendrum OrchidNative to: Ecuador, Columbia, Venezuela. Epidendrum purum is widespread and found throughout much of northern South America. It grows on trees in moist forests from 500 to 2800 meters in elevation.
Plant Size: Medium. Epidendrum purum has reed-like stems with thin, narrow green leaves.
Flower Size: 0.75 inches (2 cm)
Flower Description: Epidendrum purum produces many flowers on a terminal inflorescence. The flowers are fragrant.
