Native to: Columbia and Venezuela.

Flower Size: Small.
Flower Description: The flowers of Encyclia leucantha are dull yellow with a white lip that has some veins and markings. The petals and sepals are spoon-shaped and wider at the tip than the base.
Bloom Season: Winter. Encyclia leucantha blooms in January in the wild.
Growing Temperature: Intermediate.
Additional Information: Encyclia leucantha is not a well-known orchid species and is not widely grown. It should thrive under normal Cattleya growing conditions. Grow mounted on cork or in a basket.
