Native to: Mexico. Encyclia guadalupeae has been discovered in the Mexican states of Colima and Nayarit. Encyclia guadalupeae grows on trees in tropical forests around 1400 meters in elevation.

Flower Description: Flowers of Encyclia guadalupeae are lavender and have a narrow, spade-shaped lip with darker makings. Flowers are borne on a densly flowered simple or branched infloresence.

Additional Information: Encyclia guadalupeae was first discovered in the late 20th century and not a lot is known about it. Most likely, it is not widely available in the orchid trade.
