Native to: Panama, Trinidad. Cattleya deckeri is found growing near sea-level to 900 meters of elevation. Frequently, it is found growing on tree trunks that overhang rivers or in bushes or rocks.

Flower Description: The flowers of Cattleya deckeri are rosy purple with a darker lip. There are yellow markings in the throat. The flower is very similar to Cattleya skinneri.
