Native to: Ecuador. Epidendrum diothonaeoides grows on trees in cool, moist forests from 1500 to 3100 meters in elevation.

Plant Size: Medium. Epidendrum diothonaeoides has leafy cane-like stems that form branches.

Flower Size: Over 1 inch (2.5 cm)

Flower Description: Epidendrum diothonaeoides produces few to several flowers on a terminal inflorescence. The flowers are fragrant but the odor is not very pleasant.
